Projectile Motion
This report serves as an example of how to use Power BI for science education.
Students can build an intuitive understanding of how projectiles move through the air, using What If parameters representing initial velocity and launch angle for a projectile object.
Students can learn about how the main variables of motion (displacement, velocity and acceleration) vary during the projectile’s journey. These features utilise switch measure and Smart Narratives to allow students to chose which variable they would like to learn about.
Students can also attempt to land their projectile onto a moveable target. Smart narratives provide commentary on how close they were from the target.
